I have turned Wi-Fi status on and off o Mac and that has not made a difference. My printer is connected as follows: MG5220 is wireless to my FiOS Actiontec router and then hardwired Ethernet to iMac. I believe there was a time in the past when it was scanning properly that I had a separate printer icon under "Printers" on left of "Print and Scan" sscreen for the scanner but not sure (can someone confirm?).
